I have a belly button piercing that is about 10 months old. I am wanting to change my barbell. But the ball won't unscrew. What to do?

    If the piercing is 10 months old, you can tug the ring a bit without it hurting, correct?

    Try a pair of pliers with a rubber band wrapped around the ends to make it easier to grip onto the ball. Try twisting it. If that doesn't work you can definitely go into any piercing place, doesn't have to be the place you got it, and they can loosen it for you. They are probably more gutsy when it comes to getting it off so they will get that sucker off.

    • thank you so much! i have been trying to get mine unscrewed for months, and today i read your post and tried using rubber bands (without pliers) and it was so easy! now i have a pretty ring in :)
