You're reading Do you believe that telling our children about Santa Claus and the easter bunny is teaching our kids to lie?
Comments
"Santa" is a perversion of the word "Saint". Actually "Santa Claus" is a perversion of "Saint Nicholas". So, you'll have to go a bit further to support that Santa<->Satan theory of yours.

All I was trying to say is, why lie to your children? You work hard for gifts that you purchase with your love. Why give credit to fictional characters. Santa may be a perversion of Saint, but a man in a red suite does not bring gifts to your children. You do. A gift from a caring and loving parent is more rewarding to me than a gift from a stranger. I didn't mean to offend anyone. We beg our children not to lie, but this is okay? I simply don't understand. Remember, we all have an opinon be it right or wrong.

I asked this question to see how others have came to tell these stories. Some have good answers as protecting the fantasy of the child, but I have to agree that teaching our children about God is more important. Did you know MoJo that the Easter Bunny, the hiding of eggs,is a Pagan tradition from witchcraft. Did you know the day of Christmas is the day of a Pagan holiday , and that their tradition is to put a evergreen in their house and to wrap presents up with foil. Sound familiar doesn't it.
