"creation science"? is that the new name for intelligent design? it is EXTREMELY bias, and I would like you to point out any other religions besides "christianity" that teaches "Creation Science"

    • Christians are not the only religion/culture that believes the world did not come into being by Evolutionary theory...

    • Creation Science is not just supported by Christians.

    • so show me proof of that... The term creationism refers to God creating the earth in 7 days as described in the christian bible.. so obviously any "creation science" is going to be based on Christian theology. Why would Hindus or Muslims teach "creation science" if they dont believe in the christian bible either?

    • Actually Creationism is supported by Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Some Native American tribes, Some sects of Hinduism, some Buddhist sects, etc. The "God" isn't defined as the Christian God. Its more deistic than Christian.

    • YES exactly a direct product of the Christian Bible, however this doesn't disreguard anyone else adding to the ciriculum. Their are many topics on the Symarian writings (such as Gilgamesh) that are not at all Christian. When I speak on Creationism, I designate that I am a 6 Day Creationist, their are some who are tens of thousands of years creationists, and their are even hundreds of thousands of years creationists, and Evolutionary Creationists (Theological Evolutionists they are usually called) stating that GOD created the Laws and started things rolling.
      .
Intelegent Design, is different then Creationism.
Intelegent design states a designer of the universe (showing how complex objects and systems do not come into effect by their own, but are designed by a designer (like general motors design a car)
      .
Creationism, deals with not only how things started but how they have been going. Like the flood story.

    • "PS most Hindus support Intelegent Design."

Really? What is the source that backs up your claim that one religion believes in another? By the way, I love that you misspelled "intelligent".

    • Intellegent Design (thanks for the help on my spelling) is not Christian based. A person who believes in Intellegent Design does not need at all to believe anything of the Bible is true (NOT AT ALL) Intellegent Design is a concept that says that their was a designer. You could even be a Intellegent Design person who thinks that 4th Dimensional Aliens came down and planted us on this planet. "Intellegently Designed", See Intellegent Design is a concept that is applied to ones belief. Just as Evolution is a concept that is applied to everything from animals to the cosmos (Cosmology) to Laws of the universe. How everything Evolved into the way it is today.... No doubt that that is science, because it is asking "IF, THEN HOW", it simply has the spin of Evolution. Intellegent Design asks the same question "IF, THEN HOW" with the spin of Intellegently Designed.
      See the difference.
GO ask a person whos belief are Hindu, who is very scientific, and ask them if airplanes (viamana) existed thousands of years in the past. Even though EVERY TEXT BOOK says different in america they still believe what their Holy texts say (Mahabharata, Ramayana) etc.
