My mum and her sister used to work as radio operators in Newcastle Upon Tyne communicating with the (sometimes submerged) submarines docked on the banks of the river Tyne in the 1950s. This was their pisstake on the phonetic alphabet (Able Baker Charlie etc.)

    'ay for 'orses
    beef or mutton
    see for yourself
    deformation
    'eave a brick
    effervescence
    chief of police
    H for leather
    Eye for an eye
    Jaffa oranges
    Kay Ferdinand
Alphabet (made that one up - can't remember - conflicts with L for leather)
    Emphasis
    Infra Dig
Oh for the wings of a dove
    Pee for comfort
    Queue for rations
    'Arf a mo'
    Esther Williams
    Tea for two
    You for me
    V for victory
    Double you for quits
    Eggs for breakfast
    Wife of husband
    Zephyr breezes

    Hope you enjoy this!
