Help answer this question below.

You where in a middle of nowhere at the sea and a shark infested water floating in a boat for a 2 person, you saw your best friend for a long time together with your life partner floating in the water unconciously. who you will save? just pick one and why

    I would do what the men of the USS Indianapolis did - take turns. The unconscious person has no chance of defending herself - She goes in the boat. Then my friend and I would take turns in the water, maybe 1/2 hour or 1 hour intervals. If the unconscious person wakes up and is somewhat capable, then she would also take a turn in the water.

    I my partner is in the water when the sharks actually come looking or a meal - I honestly don't know what I would do at that moment. I would like to think I would jump in and try to help her; but I actually don't know what I would do. Not something I would like to decide.

    Did you know that there is a chart showing how long a person can last given a specific water temperature. The chart also has a curve showing the probability of shark attack. When the water temp reaches a point where you could survive for at least 4 hours, the probability of attack is almost 98%. Hypothermia or Jaws? Either way your dead. (For you Navy types, this Chart is posted in CIC).
