Why do people try to present belief and faith as if they were factual and logical?

    Do you remember the movie 'Oh brother where art thou"? I think george clooney summed it up best when he said 'its only a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart" When you believe you believe come hell or high logic . Its simply making wishes reality by any means of deception including self deception. If the world is quiet about meaning then we will speak to give it meaning, we want reguardless what facts we have pryed out in toil. Facts that to some are inhuman because they point to a finite being in an infinite universe who didn't begin as we are now. There is nothing personal or loving about this . Who can blame someone if they seek answers and comfort by any means to make the minutes less desperate? Who is to say if a fact has to be real when truth is so barren? There is no logic in desperation and great joy in assumptions even if there is no proof they ever exist.
