like .avallach was saying above, Science can most definately prove Biblical events and if you believe that the Bible is God's inspired word then in turn Science does prove there is a God. For example, regarding Babylon, it was foretold: 'She will never be inhabited, nor will she reside for generation after generation. And there the Arab will not pitch his tent, and no shepherds will let their flocks lie down there." (Isa.13:20) This showed the Babylon would be desolate permanently. About 50 miles south of Baghdad, Iraq is the uninhabited site of ancient Babylon. So what God said through Isaiah has been fulfilled. There are many more examples of how the science can back up the Bible. However, God is clearly seen through his creation we see here today. (Romans 1:20)
