Can multiple prescribed narcotics, when taken over a long period of time, affect a urinalysis?

    If it's for a drug test, when you take a urinalysis they ask you ahead of time what drugs are prescribed to you. They have to be your scripts. Anything that is in your system will show up in your test. If you take oxycordone and are not supposed to be, yes, they will know it. If it's for medical diagnosis, you need to let your physician know what drugs are in your system so that he/she can make sure the results are read properly. I don't know if that's what you mean by "throw off" but they will appear in your urine.
