Texas Offshore Oil Spill Involves 3 Exxon-Mobil Tankers
When are you going to start using a horse and buggy to get around, switch over to a wood for cooking and heating, candles for lighting, and, of course, give up your computer, so that you won't be supporting the evil energy industries that you hate so much.
Shill, do you realize that the incident rate of such spills has been on a very steady and significant decline for the past three decades? As new technologies and safety measures are implemented these types of incidents will continue to become rarer. However, to expect that imperfect human being will be able to eliminate accidents is totally unreasonable. The problem here is that the successful and safe deliveries of petroleum and petroleum products never makes the news. It is only the very small number of unsuccessful deliveries that get headlines. So, this gives people a warped perception of the reality of the situation.
