You're reading What does the Bible say about reading horoscopes?
Comments
Since horoscopes pretend to divine the future, this answer correctly ties them to witchcraft consistent with scripture.

Isn't prayer a "supernatural practice"? I think you overstated. Is "practice of horoscopes" same as reading one?

Why don't you provide references?

Prayer is relying on God for help. Horoscopes, etc. draw the practitioner away from God. They are a form of idol worship.

Twice in the Bible were spirits seen. Samuels and after Christ died on the cross. This is not good for your walk with Christ

Samuel died for his indiscretion. He called up a spirit via a medium and the spirit informed him he would die the next day. His fortune may have been vastly different if he hadn't tried to consult hell to find out what it was.
It wasn't Jesus' spirit that the witnesses saw after His resurrection. It was Christ Himself. He even allowed people to touch his wounds so that they could see it was Him in His body resurrected from the dead.

Ah, I think that you meant to say that it was Saul who died for his indiscretion, not Samuel. And it was more than Jesus that was seen. Matthew tells us that many of the saints rose from the dead and were seen in Jerusalem after Jesus' resurrection.
