If you smoke marijuana or do other drugs, can you give blood? Do they accept your "tainted" blood?

    Sure, why not. I truly doubt they test for that stuff.

    • The do test for that, and they put your name on a do not use list that is confidential, but shared between red cross centers.

    • I keep my blood to myself and it's full of prescription drugs so I suppose it's a moot point.

    • The Red Cross does not test for THC or its metabolites! Your assertion is entirely false! I specifically asked, and they still wanted my blood as I wasn't high at the time and don't use IV drugs. Most prescription drugs are also OK.
