What is the justification for the belief that all paths lead to the same God? Wouldn't the teachings of each way contradict the others?

    You are correct. They can't all be right. (I would say they can't all be wrong, either.) For example, one religion teaches that I should treat other people as I desire to be treated. Another one might teach that I should strap bombs around my child and send him out to send unprepared strangers to hell, or at least blow their arms and legs off, so that my child and I can go to heaven. One of these two Gods is actually the devil, in my view, and his heaven is going to be warmer than expected.
