I just want to extend on my question here. I was baptised (sprinkled with water) as a infant in the Roman Catholic Church. I am now a teenager (15) and am considering being baptised now that I understand what is happening in and being fully emersed as a prostant christian. I don't know if I should or not. My mother is a Roman Catholic and would support me, but is there some rule saying I can't be baptised kind of twice? I am so unsure, please someone help me with this.

    • If you are asking if you think it is some type of sin to be baptised again, I do not believe it is. When you were a baby it was by your parents choice to have you baptised. Baptism is supposed to be a public proclamation of your faith, a decision made by you. Basically I think of it as saying "I am with Jesus and am not ashamed!"

    • No rules. Only love God, understand what Jesus did, accept your new life after the baptism as a fresh beginning and walk strong. Religion doesn't matter - only relationship.
