Help answer this question below.

Do you think that people that get help from the Govt. shoud still get a tax refund? People with a EBT card, Medicaid and still get 8K back!!

    Yes, if it is due them. However, I am knowledgeable about Medicaid income and resource limits; you've either been given wrong info or you are just playing.

    I can see one scenario where this could possibly happen one time. The problem is that when that 8K check is received it will likely be a disqualifier for Medicaid.

    This is my opinion.

    • No it isn't due to them. Fact is they only have to work and earn over $600 to be eligible to file income taxes, then when you have four or more kids, you get all of that child income tax credit. That is money that they do not deserve. It should go back to the actual taxpayers that is providing their health insurance and buying their groceries.
