Is it Scriptural to pray to “saints” for them to act as intercessors with God?

    No, but then neither is asking friends and strangers to "pray for you", or to "pray for a loved one". Catholics believe that saints are those people who died and went to heaven, so they can "pray for you" too.

    • This is incorrect. The author of the letters to the Colossians, Thessalonians and the author of Hebrews entreat the reader to "pray for us." This is a very clear, even explicit, biblical precedent for asking friends (and even strangers) to pray for you.

    • Great, and some people think that they can continue doing that in heaven too. After all they'd have such a lot of time on their hands :)
