While the thought of kids younger than 16 having sex is horrifying to me, the thought a 15 year old mother is worse.

I might support the prescription of birth control to children younger than 16, but only with parents' consent.

That said, birth control is medication that alters the body's hormones and I don't know what kind of damage might occur in a persona that young.

    • unfortunately alot of girls under 16 have parents who due to what ever beliefs they have would not consent to birth control for their daughters .
if a girl , no matter what age she is wants to get birth control it is for one reaon . she is having sex . it is much better for a girl to be able to get her birth control and be responsible than take the chance she doesnt want to take just because her parents dont want to accept their daughter is having sex.
