The new WorkSafe fashion is Fluoro Shirts for workers. Why only orange and yellow/green over dark blue or black? Is it yellow or green? Why not pink or blue?

    The colours in the yellow spectrum of the colour chart are more reflective and highly visible. For these reasons the colour yellow was chosen to be the standard colour for a "high visibility" jacket and other products, and as with most safety products (and the same applies in other areas not just safety) this colour is now a standard which must be upheld to fully fill the safety standards on which most (if not all) building site now follow.

    Just check any Hi Visibilty Clothing store and you will see just the bright yellow, as these are company standards.
