I broke up with my girlfriend 4 months ago i havint seen her since.She texed me the other day Merry Christmas.Why?

The same thing happened to me, and my ex has a boyfriend now...So my answer is yes she still cares for you but people break up for a reason...She might want to get back together again but the question you have to ask yourself is will it work a second time?
