well,when I was a kid,I never really liked cake(I still dont),exept fruit cakes,which I loved!,so whenever I had a birthday,I'd ask for an ice cream cake,everybody likes ice cream!.But it really depends on the child.

- We used to have icecream cake at Christmas time in the eighties when my Dad ran a ski lodge and one of the guests used to make it each year.
