A priest refused to give a Lesbian communion at her mother's funeral. Is this an 'atta boy' or a 'shame on you'?

You're reading My son is 11 and did not receive his Catholic first communion 3 years ago. Is there a way he can do this now (without going to a class for a year with 3rd graders?)

Don't worry about free4life79, MichaelG. He just can't let anyone worship God in peace. He seems to feel a need to criticize any religion that does not agree with his. He and I have been over this time and time again. He just does not want to acknowledge those parts of the Bible that talk about the importance of works to our salvation.

I am a she! and will not argue with you! I only state what God says in His word"the bible" not the book of Mormons. I am not on here to fight like I have said to you many times already. It is pointless and unfruitful.

My apologies for getting your sex wrong. However, I was also merely using correct English for when the sex of a person is not know.
I am also not trying to start a fight. You and I have pretty well beat this topic to death. I was just pointing out to Michael that you can't seem to help but tear down religions with which you disagree. This discussion really has little to do with my religion. It has to do with the fact that you posted an answer that really had nothing to do with the question and does little more than attack another branch of Christianity, a branch of Christianity that happens to disagree with your interpretation of the Bible. They came to the same conclusions that my religion did about the relationship between works and faith as mine strictly from study of the Bible, yet you can't accept that. So, rather than simply letting it go, you have to post an irrelevant answer attacking yet another faith.

All I'm going to say about that rant is Luke 9:5

That is a verse that we, in my Church, take very seriously. It is something to only be done in the absolute worst of cases. I would not dream of using it for a mere disagreement over doctrine. As I have written several times. We respect the right of everyone to believe as they wish. You might also note that my "rant" as you seem to call it is not aimed at here beliefs. It is aimed at her refusal to let others believe as they wish. All I am asking of her and everyone else is respect for the right of others to follow the dictates of their own conscience.
