Have you ever been in a car accident? What happened?

i was in a car crash when i was 8, and im 13 now, but i remember it like it was yesterday because i was sitting in the front seat (which 8 year olds should NEVER do) and my little sister who was 4 was in the back and my mom was driving. We went to turn onto a street, all the cars were like in a line in all the rows waiting for us to turn when a lady in the last row completly swurved a turn and hit us at about a 20 mph and i didnt weigh enough for my seat belt to catch me so i flew forwards onto the windsheild, my head going through the glass. I blacked out for a second, and all i could hear was "mom im bleeding!", coming from my little sister in the back, and my mom replyed "hunny, your not bleeding, that is blood splattered from your sister!". so at that point i was COMPLETLY freaked out because i couldnt feel a thing and yet there were all these people around me giving me ugly stuffed animals and comforting me, and my mom started worrying becuase i wasnt crying, or moaning, or even saying anything, and luckly, we were hit right next to a blockbuster and they imidiatly called the pollice when they heard the crash. So i went into the ambulience.

In the hospitol i got my head glued back together (which is trust me, worse than getting stiches because its hot) and later looked at our car and you could see my complete head print on the sheild and my forhead had actually gone through it. But in the end, we now always try to use stoplights, and even now, i dont sit in the front, and we try to go to blockbuster every week. But i just want to tell everyone this, you make think that you can let your child in the front or whatever but, it is soo not safe. There is a reason why its the law. I just wish my mom would have taken that seirously. the lady that crashed into us ended up ok and tried to sue, but that never came through. And thats about it! I just thank God im alive!

yesss Ihave a large scar that oddly looks like the United States. It’s about half of my forehead. And in the sun makes it lift and stand out more. Which, is not an attractive quality.

just think of it as a reminder of how you should always wear your seatbelt and that you survived!
