Do you think that parents allow their children to get away with too much in the good manner's department these days? What about the adults? Have basic manners gone by the wayside in general?

Hi, just saw this question. Good question! I do believe that children get away too often and too easy.

My philosophy in life is: "If you fail to discipline children you should not have any".

Parents are either are too lazy, too busy, have no time ______ (fill in the blank) to discipline. LOL

Well, not surprisingly, bad-mannered children grow into bad-mannered adults.

    • *wink* I am generally against the families with multiple children more than 3). It is impossible to give one-on-one attention to each kid, and it's extremely rare that these children grow in the well-behaved, well-mannered adults.

    • Yeah I usually figure better to have at least as many adults as kids...no sense in giving the percentages favor to the "little rascals!"
