The Bible states God made man in his own image. How would Christianity then explain alien life should it be discovered?

Um... there is alien life. It's called angels and demons. But anyway, I don't see how it matters that alien life forms wouldn't be made in God's image. They're not men.

God made man in his image and women out of men. Not in the image of God. So the bible says. So with that said means Gods image is that of a Man. My question is then would that make God gay being that he made man and loved him so?
