We all come to this world alone, and we will leave it alone, so why is there all this pain in between? You may not always get to choose if you have company nearby, but you can always choose how you respond emotionally to the physical situation.
    ..
As Osho puts it, "Loneliness is a negative state, like darkness. Loneliness means you are missing someone ; you are empty, and you are afraid in this vast universe.
    ..
Aloneness has a totally different meaning: It does not mean that you are missing someone, it means that you have found yourself. It is absolutely positive."
    ..
There's no need to "defeat" loneliness. Loneliness is a choice; your choice. Being alone doesn't mean you have to be lonely.
