If you made a EMP device could it disable a GPS tracking system?

    A powerful enough Electromagntive Pulse would disable and render useless any and all electronics within its range.

    The real danger would be for a large EMP missle to be detonated 300 miles above Kansas City, This would have an effective range of about 3000 sq miles. And knock out the entire US electronic Infrastructure.

    After something like that GPS would be completely disabled.
