I got a letter from the court stating I am to appear for a case classification conference. Does anyone know what this means?

    Let me preface this with I am not a lawyer. However, I believe it is a conference to identify the interests of both parties and gather information such as disclosure of assests and liabilities. You may look at settlement options and/or possible negotiations for a final settlement.
