Do you know if copyright apply on Classical Music (from before 1820)?

    Not in America. Anything from 1820 would be in the public domain.

    • I mean if I take a random cd with a track of Beethoven (a classical interpretation) can use it without a problem?

    • No. Whoever recorded the track will have a copyright in their recording. But you could play and/or record any of Beethoven's songs without getting permission.
