Question

Help answer this question below.

My dog is vomiting out a yellow, foamy substance which looks like urine. This has been going on for about a month, maybe twice a week. She pukes three times in succession and then she seems fine, She doesn’t appear to be sick in any way, so whats wrong?

For what it's worth, my Welsh Terrier has had a foam/bile vomiting issue most of his 4 years of life. Worse now than when he was a puppy. This only occurs when he is stopping frequently to intensely sniff something during, somewhat vigorous excercise(running). He will not vomit during vigorous play, if he's not stopping and sniffing. But if I take him for a long run, he will stop often to sniff and ultimately will vomit a fairly large amount of slimy foam. When he's sniffing and not excercising I can see the excessive dripping of saliva from his nose. This may cause a slight convulsive exhale, but generally no vomit. Don't know what to do, because he needs excercise and that brings on the vomiting even though I try to not let him linger over a particular "good" smell. Maybe I'll try the antacid therapy.
