Question

Help answer this question below.

My roommate broke my laptop and denies it. I have 2 witnesses who heard me tell her to stop touching it 5+ times, her admission that she ignored this, and 3 expert opinions that her actions were the cause. Best way to make her pay for the replacement?

Ouch! and your roomate as well, thats not very nice situation to be in :( Aye, a civil lawsuit might be worth it, I would go and talk with your solicitor and see what he/she says. Thats only my friendly advice, I am sorry I cant advise you further but I have no experience of that kind of thing!! Good luck anyways :D

    • Thanks! Ill try to see if anyone can do anything before a lawsuit. I mostly just want to bluff the lawsuit and intimidate her into paying before going so far as to go to court.

    • Yeah, that is an excellent decision :) However, living in the same room from not on might be a bit awkward :(
