You're reading A question for men. What would life be like if you lost your testicles? I've had mine removed, and am comfortable being castrated. Wondering what other guys and gals think,

There's a lot of myths about us, and they are not true. Your voice will not change, and none of the other things will either. You'll likely be on replacement hormone, and will not lose sexual desire. You'll still have all the manly interests you have now.
When I lost mine in 1985, there was very little information available. I did have hot flashes till I got the replacement testoserone worked out. I did not have any trouble adjusting to them being gone. They had caused a great deal of pain. Having them removed gave me a better quality of life than I had with them.
Keep me posted on how things go.

Kandorot,
Please feel free to email me.

I can offer you more information than I'm willing to post in public, but being castrated ain't no 'big fat hairy deal'.
If you lose your remaining testicle I will empathize rather than sympathize. I've been without mine since 1985, and thanks to HRT I am still a man.

I'm here to help if you need that. If it happened that way there is nothing to be ashamed of. I've been that way since 1985.
