Question

Help answer this question below.

The average atomic mass of zinc is 65.380 amu. There are only two isotopes in naturally occurring zinc: (63.92925 amu), and (71.92780 amu) Calculate the percent composition of naturally occurring zinc. Someone help me and explain how to find the solution

    I'm not going to solve it but instead show you how to do it.

    65.380=(m*63.92925 + n*71.92780)/(m+n)

    where m and n are expressed in percentages and m+n = 100

    so you have two equations and two unknowns. Should be simple enough to solve now
