Is it a macro security warning? If so, you need to lower the macro security level for Word. Should be in the options menus, I don't have a copy in front of me to be more specific right now.

You're reading A have a macro to auto format and adjust certain things in my stories, used to be i activate the macro and it did all the tasks by it's self, but now i am having to click "ok" for every action, how can i fix this? the macro is suppose to automate 4 me.
Comments
oops, no it's a ms word macro.
i recorded the macro to make custom formating changes to my stories in word 2003.
when i first created it it worked fine but now it asks ok/cancel for each step/function in the macro.
i tried re-recording it but still have the same problem.
it kind of defeats the purpose of an automated macro if you have to approve each step as it runs.

It sounds like you're in some sort of step-mode, for debugging. I've not seen that in Word. What version of Word are you using? Have you looked at the text of the macro itself to see if it looks reasonable?
