Question

Help answer this question below.

When I start up my computer, nothing happens. The hard drive doesn’t spin, the fans don’t work, nor do I get any display. I’ve checked the power strip and know that power is getting to the computer, but nothing happens from there.

Is the little fan in the power supply lighting? The power supply could be bad or the main pwa or the cpu may be shorted. You have to open it and check the caps if they are swolen on top on the main pwa the pwa will have to be changed. These are some of the causes i have seen. Good Luck
