Help answer this question below.

My ex claims my olderst son on his taxes. I claim the youngest. I had to show proof by way of Income Tax forms that my olderst son lived with me. So on my tax forms I listed him as livingin my home but did not claim him as a deduction. Is that legal?

    Yes, it is legal. And you should have given your ex a signed IRS From 8332 saying that you were not claiming the child as a dependent (since it appears you are custodial parent) and his father was claiming him.
