My best-friends boyfriend and i really like each other, but my friend just told him she loves him. we don't know what to do. help?

Don't do it unless losing your friend is worth having the guy. Girls can be very territorial and you may lose the friend. The same thing happened to me once but I chose to date the boy and I ended up losing one of my best friends. We did eventually make up but our friendship was never the same and she never trusted me with any of her boyfriends again.
