Do you feel sorry for drunken, homeless losers who choose their status?

    I sincerely doubt whether any of these sad folk "choose their status". I mean, no one in their right mind would choose to be a bum,would they??

    • Thank you,Science Dude. Naturally,I am sorry to hear about your brother,and you are evidently concerned about your brother and want to try to help him get back into society again. Sadly it seems many of those sleeping rough and begging on city streets are doing it to feed a drug habit they have acquired and cannot get rid of,so the best place for them would be in a rehab hospital where they can "dry out" under professional supervision.
      You will notice that Geoff The Crusader has put a further comment on HIS answer [above]--which I think is compassionate and relevant,and which you [Science Dude] may choose to comment further upon.
