You're reading A cow eats grass and drinks water. The grass and water then go through a process which turns them into meat on the cow. Is it possible to take grass and water and artificially make beef from them without having to kill a cow?
Comments
Well yes, but from a spiritual point of view it might not be considered to have a soul whereas a cow would, so some people would find it ok to eat but not cow beef, so more vegetarians would be able to have a wider choice of food without violating their policies.

Well, we didn't develop in nature as vegetarians. I wish political vegetarians would be less holier than thou. We could all eat a little less meat, but to eat none at all because Bessie looks cute to me is ridiculous.
