Are there any horror movies that are actually scary?

    Bloed... on stand-by

    - Wolf Creek, creeped the shit out of me, very disturbing movie.
    - The Last House on the Left, highly disturbing too
    - Texas Chainsaw Massacre (though I thought it actually was also quite funny)
    - Audition (Japanese movie by Takashi Miike). Starts very slow, ends really creepy.

    Just to name a few. There are quite a lot of Asian horror movies that are really scary.
