    There are two Jeep Liberty transfer case models. One is made by Command Trac and the other is made by Select Trac. Command Trac is the standard issued model for most Jeep Libertys; the Command Trac model is meant for engaging 4x4 capability only on a part-time basis.The Select Trac model is meant for Jeep Libertys that will be using 4x4 engagement full time.
