The U.S.Pentagon says that it's the parent's fault that the youth are not wanting to enlist in the military. Is that true?

    I really resent the fact that the American government and the American media keep using terms like "parents 'send' their children to serve in the military"

    Nobody "sends" anybody! There's no military draft, it is up to the INDIVIDUAL to choose to enlist or not enlist.

    I think all these parents who say they "sent" their children ought to be ashamed of themselves, trying to steal credit for their children's tough decisions.

    Having said that, it's not the parent's fault if young people don't want to enlist either; its the US government's own fault for starting wars based on false pretenses, using poor strategies that result in needless casualties, and forcing soldiers to re-enlist multiple times.
