I bet it's not...it would hurt. YOu have crepitusm which is how doctors describe that crackling sound. Mostly it is caused by gas bubbles in your joints, which the foot is loaded with. I would absolutely see a podiatrist though. If thats possible.

You're reading Is my foot broken, fractured, or nerve damage? When I move it it feels like rusty wheels turning, no pain but feels like somethings moving around in there, also some tingling when I'm not standing or moving. No pain whatsoever when I'm on it. any advice
