Why would a woman sleep with someone else’s man knowing how hurtful this is to another woman? For goodness sakes….she’s a woman too. How can women hurt each other like that and don’t care?

The way you phrase your question, it's like women are a team or something by virtue of their sex. As if we all believe in the same principles, we all work toward the same goals, we all fight against a common enemy. That's not how I feel at all. I've met plenty of women and plenty of men in my life, and I can definitely point out some men with whom I have way more in common than some women I could point to. What are women to me? They're no more or less to me than men are. We're all humans: in the scheme of life on earth, men and women are the same thing. It really bothers me when people talk like "women are from Venus, men are from Mars." I don't think I owe anyone any special treatment: rather, I treat everyone the same until given a reason not to.

So, to me, your question is basically asking why a person would hurt another person. My answer to that is: because they don't care enough not to, because our society glorifies selfishness, self-centredness, and instant gratification.
