Are you ever polite to some obnoxious people when what you really are thinking is "shove it up your derriere"?

    Sure. The supply of obnoxious people is absolutely endless, and it is impossible to train them all. Even picking them off here and there - like a poor customer service rep - is pointless in the greater scheme of things.

    For my own sake, I am polite and remove myself from the situation as soon as possible. They have to suffer living with themselves; it is their own punishment.

    • Nice answer. I either ignore them or am unfailingly polite and I move on ASAP. They come back for more..I am polite again and move on. What that may do to their ulcers I have no idea...not my problem. If they wanna engage in battle, they must find another adversary because they are not worth my time.
