You're reading Does anyone have an idea for what to put in my van? I took out the seats so its a little room on wheels, and I have a couch, TV, stereo and a heater.. I have about 10 more feet of free space left..

yeah, I thought about the cabinet.. But the glove box does that, but I like the pillow and bean bag thing.. thanks +2. Yeah, I measured the space in between the wheel wells and the length between the back of the van and the old seat poles (my friend and I call them the death bringers cuz when were drunk we always get stabbed by em.) and then I measured my mattress, and It fits PERFECT. one inch off on space

Hell yeah, a mattress would be sweet! Your glove box must be bigger than mine cause I can't fit anything in it at all.You should put some shag carpeting or something equally ridiculous down if you decide against the mattress so the people sitting on bean bags or pillows won't end up on a cold van floor.Will you post a picture when you complete your rolling abode?

yeah, there are so many memories in that van.. My friend and I lived in it for about 5 months, then we shut it down for winter.. but this winter is different. Its broken down at the moment, so were gonna insulate it with snow (cuz it always stays 34 degrees, which is way better than the negative 30 we get here.) and then I'm throwing my heater in there. It already has carpet in it too.. and yeah, the glove box is pretty big, its an old 90s conversion van, so everything is huge.. And yes, I will definetely post a pic of the inside.. Oh, I'm gonna add you as my first friend.. So yeah, peace

Aww I feel honored lol I haven't ever sent a friend request on AB either. I would love to live in a van! I'm trying to work up the hypothetical balls to leave all this stuff behind and just troupe around. How was your time on the road? I miss living in the cold; one winter, in Flagstaff, we walled up an awning so the smoking area would be warm. -30 might be a little too cold, though. When will it start snowing so you can insulate your van?

It started snowing a week ago. Embarrass is known as the coldest spot in the states (it has the record cold temp of -65 degrees and theres even a liquor store called cold country liquor), and its among the top 3 places for mosquitos.. So it sucks all around. And OMG my time on the road was the best!! My friend and I hired a friend to drive us around while we got drunk in the back.. (it was the last time he fell for that.. apparently we were so annoying that he stopped the van and told us to shut up or he'd just stay where we were.) Yeah, and we always went to duluth to purchase new periphanelia at the electric fetus.. Duluth is definetely a place you should see, its awesome!! yeah, haha hypothetical balls lol

haha well I certainly don't want to grow real balls...I hadn't ever heard that about Embarrass, I can't even conceptualize weather that cold; even at the coldest time of year here it will maybe dip into the forties. Riding around drunk with "death bringers" sounds like an adventure in itself, you should cover them in foam and fabric and make them one more comfy item in your van instead of booby traps for the intoxicated. Duluth is on my list of places to visit, Atmosphere mentions it in one of his songs and that made me want to check it out. I've never been further East than New Mexico so I have a lot of places to see. I had never heard of Electric Fetus but I checked out their website and it seems like the type of store I would shop in. (Prepositions aren't supposed to end sentences but writing "in which I would shop" just sounded pretentious.)We have Zia Records out here. Have you started insulating your van then? Its going to be like an igloo but so much better lol

Haha, yeah, enjoying your feminine qualities eh? yeah, your pee would freeze before it hit the ground.. I've tried.. So you listen to atmosphere too? I got 4 of his albums, he's awesome!! Yeah I covered the death bringers with tape, so the edges aren't so sharp.. haha, you'd shop at the electric fetus? do you smoke green? yeah, I hate embarrass, but I love it at the same time I guess. Never below 40 huh? Thats good weather! Whats the highest its been that you remember? (Oh and I think what you meant by conceptualize is conceive..) just for future reference.. Do you have an E-mail? haha I actually meant green when I said "snacks" in my answer...and I may have smoked a bit before I started maundering about conceptualization, which is a word, its pretty much a synonym for conceive. I like to use words that have Z's in them because they are so few and far between:P.Urination is actually the one area where I feel phallic envy, all you do is unzip and turn around, its so much work for girls. It was 92 today, I was driving around with my windows down and the a/c on. I prefer cold weather though; our balmy winters don't really do it for me. The highest I remember was 115 one summer when I was growing up. My little brother and i used to fry eggs on the side walk during the day when my parents were at work. I would totally shop at Electric Fetus! For one the name is amusing and I really want it to show up in my transaction history and I really enjoy music. I do listen to Atmosphere, he's the first hip/hop artist I listened to. I do have an e-mail its kirbi_doty@yahoo.com

I didn't know conceptualization was a word.. nice. yeah, I like being able to urinate effortlessly.. The whole world is my bathroom, I have a 1 bedroom, 2 million bath place. I've never heard of anyone preferring cold weather, thats awesome. Holy crap, you can fry eggs on the sidewalk? its gotta be death for your feet. I can't imagine. Atmospheres the first hip-hop you've heard? At least it wasn't lil wayne, cuz if it was, I don't think you'd be listening to hip-hop at all.
