Help answer this question below.

For years we heard the phrases "make money" or "making money". The ONLY folks who "make" money work @ the mints & Bureau of Engraving & Printing. Everryone else has to "earn" money. Where did the expressions "make money" & "making money" come from? Thx!

    Making money and earning money are synonymous terms and have always been used to mean the same thing.
