In 1999 President Bush said "I don't think that witchcraft is a religion. I wish the military would rethink this decision." Now that the VA has approved the pentacle, should he have to apologise?

Despite the fact that Witchcraft isn't actually a religion (because Wicca is the religion. Witchcraft is a practice, a way of life)....
Naw, he shouldn't have to apologise, because he shouldn't have said it in the first place. It is not in his place to say anything about his religion or what he thinks about anyone else's religion. Sometimes, he should just shut up rather than say anything at all. ;)

    • I love that answer, and thanks for pointing out out that witchcraft isn't a religion. I jumped right past that when I read it.

    • His quote was, in fact, referring to Wicca. Look it up.

    • It was indeed, but the mere fact that he called it Witchcraft shows that he is not quite as educated as many are led to believe. If you haven't noticed, I do not hold our President in the highest esteem.
