    Sociopathetic

Of course, a large part of that is the whole financial aspect. People make money off medicine and so people push medicine. Ethically, it's very wrong - especially when it comes to things that can be done without medication or with a very low dosage.

Last I heard, in a psychiatric setting, doctors are prescribing medication within three minutes of meeting with a client. That's barely enough to know if the problem is neurological or psychological...

Because we give medication out like candy, people have taken a liking to its comfort and have decided that it feels better and is easier than dealing with our issue, which is wrong. Very, VERY wrong. In order to fix a problem, you need to get to the root of it. You can't fix something you don't know.
