    That depends on the kind of paper, how much it weighs.
    The A-standards are related to the size of the paper.
    Example (metric units):
    A4 = 21,0 cm x 29,7 cm = 623,7 cm2
    1 m2 = 100 cm x 100 cm = 10.000,00 cm2
    10.000,00 cm2 : 623,7 cm2 = about 16 (sheets A4)
    standard photocopy paper weighs 80 g per m2, that is 10.000,00 cm2 of photocopy paper weigh 80 g
    >> 16 sheets A4 weigh 80 g
    >> 80 g : 16 sheets = 5 g per sheet
    >> 100 g : 5 g = 20
    Result: 20 sheets of photocopy paper with 80g/m2 weigh 100 g.
