Are texting shortcuts becoming the equivalent of computer ebonics?

    Texting shortcuts came about when the texting pagers appeared; the charges were per character. There is no excuse for using those idiotic abbreviations when there is space for full text. 5

    • Thanks TM. Spelling and structure were a pet peeve of my mothers. I guess I inherited it.

    • It was good. Auburn lost again, but Alabama and Florida won. They are my favorites. Clemson beat Miami which was a surprise. I'm still painting but will finish tomorrow. Did you notice I'm awake at 11:30 PM -- and I didn't just wake up.
