Why are atheists referred to as non-believers? They obviously believe in something. Why can't one just call them atheists?

    • No one is asking you to good sir - the question is just for thought and debate. I think one could posit that much of what takes place on this website is "much ado about nothing", but we keep coming back, don't we?
